Men's Waterproof Non-Slip Work Sneakers

How to Measure Your Foot Length for Work Shoes

Work shoes should be chosen by foot length, not by the size you usually wear in sneakers. Steel and composite toe caps do not stretch, and thick work socks take up extra room, so a small measuring mistake can mean a whole shift of discomfort.

Here is the method we use in our size guide:

  1. Wear the socks you normally work in.
  2. Stand with your heel lightly against a wall.
  3. Mark the tip of your longest toe on the floor.
  4. Measure from the wall to the mark. That is your foot length.

Match that length to the foot-length column in our size chart, not just to the US Men or US Women column. Our sizes are shown as M / W pairs, where W is M plus 1.5 — for example, M 7 / W 8.5.

If you are between two sizes, take the larger one. A toe cap that is too tight will not break in the way a soft sneaker does.

Two notes from our chart: US 7 and US 10.5 fall between our sizes, so use the foot-length column to choose in those cases. If you are unsure, our chat can help with sizing — tell us your foot length in centimeters or inches and the shoe you are looking at.
